Douglas R. Kelly is the president of Byline, Inc., a North Carolina-based editorial services company, and the editor of Marine Technology magazine. He is a long-time collector of antique toys, 1940s-1970s comic books, and other pop culture artifacts of the 20th century. He also is the author of the book, The Die Cast Price Guide, published by Antique Trader Books.

Before forming Byline, Inc., Kelly was editorial director at Stamats Business Media Inc., as well as director of industry content at APICS The Association for Operations Management.

His byline has appeared in such publications as Associations Now, Transaction Trends, Antiques Roadshow Insider, Model Collector, Buildings, Back Issue, and The Diecast Magazine.
